On the 7th Aug, the fateful friday, met up with Darling's good fren, Colin, and his gf for dinner and drinks, thinking its a chill out nite.. went to Marutama Ramen @ the Central, nice ramen but not a wide variety. But the soup is damn nice lah and the ramen texture is not those you usually try at Ajisen Ramen, theirs is abit more springly and thinner, so the 口感 is very nice.. Yum yum..

Disappointmet: The sparse menu
After dinner, we walked to Boat Quay for drinks and we settled at Actors, have heard of this place and passed by the premise numerous times but never did I connect the 2 together. Basically, have heard of a place where you can go on stage to perform/jam and no no one will jeer at you.. I nvr know that Actors at the Boat Quay bridge is the Actors that the rest have been telling me about.. hahaha mi is really a mountain turtle.. went up the staircase which seems to have seen better days.. and we started drinking, Colin's gf doesnt drink, so whole night she only drank orange juice or some kind of cocktail..
We ordered 2 bottles of JW and started drinking.. next thing I remembered was that another good fren of his, Randall, came by and joined us and that's when we started on the 2nd bottle.. and by 1+, we started on the 3rd and shortly after, Colin and his gf left, thus leaving only Randall, me, my Darling and Colin's colleague drinking the last bottle. By then, I was kind of high and so is Darling.. hahaha we started to dance at the dance floor and singing loudly (mostly me) and I even started to head bang when I heard "Sweet Child of Mine" being played. =p My darling was mumbling through out the last part of the session and before that we had a good talk (though both of us were kind of intoxicated already) about what we want from this relationship, and I must say that I am very happy to have chosen him as my bf as he has shown me that he does really care and wanna a future with me .. *blush blush*

Anyway, we left the place ard 2+, and we hopped on a cab, I was feeling damn pukish once on the cab already, but I tahan till the cab reaches my place when I tried to wake him up.. hahaha.. He didnt respond to my pleas and nudges.. :p seeing the cab driver is kind of pissed off, I got Darling out of the cab on the pretext that he staying over at my place... in the end, both of us end up at the drain doing a Pre-national Day celebration, doing a DOUBLE Merlion... 1st time in history and think the sight is damn funnie lah.. Darling being darling, insisted that he wants to go home as its not nice for him to stay over, even after much persuasion, he still didnt relent and I cant tahan any longer (need to puke again) so I left him to take a cab back himself... luckily he reaches home safely, if not I will nvr forgive myself.. :(
The next day was CRAP lah.. I gotta wake up with a damn jiak lat hangover and have to drag myself to dim sum with my best mates in poly, Hui hui and Mich. And the special guest is my god son, Darius! Miss him badly, the last time I saw him was last year lor.. tsk tsk.. but bo bian lah, Mich is very busy at work and I am guilty of poor time management too.. but tink will make an effort to meet up with them more often.. heehee... Have a good session with the girls and we even head off to Marina Square to buy some stuff and ended the night at Darling's place watching Shutter.. dunno if its becoz I am watching at his place, or that I've grown out of the phase for horror shows, the show wasnt as scary as previous time I've watched (though I just caught a part of it the previous time only)...
National Day itself was more eventful, spend the afternoon at Darling's sis place as its his nephew's birthday and I was the only Chinese there lah.. hahaha the sis-in-law even made fun of me and say that I will stand out in the pictures since all are Indians.. Quite a fun session, though I'm still abit paiseh.. but must say that his family make me feel very at ease, especially his sisters and brother.. even his mum.. his dad is a man of few words, so I dun expect him to talk to me alot lah.. :p then I made my way home to bathe and meet him for mass in town before making our way to catch the fireworks.. hahaha.. while everyone were crowding at the other side of Marina Square.. Darling and I sat just outside my office and watch the beautiful fireworks with BDB.. heehee.. The fireworks were awesome.. but the moment with him was even better.. :)

Wanted to stand up to say the pledge but didnt wanna get caught as there were policemen around to stop pple from crowding at the area.. abit silly I think coz alot of pple wanna catch the fireworks and why stop them? After that we went to catch the train to Tampines and we had a hard time squeezing thru the crowd.. reached Tampines and went to catch GI Joe.. nice show.. entertaining I must say.. :)
Last day of the long weekend was spent at home - nuaing and we went to the Borders bookfair, disappointing I must say, we came out emptyhanded... what discerning buyers we are.. hahaha went to Metro Expo.. disappointing too.. the brands there are really nono.. but at least Darling managed to get a pair of slippers.. :) Last stop was Harvey Norman Expo.. Good prices for the TVs and nearly got one.. but in the end we decided to wait till we plan what to do with his TV cabinet 1st before making a rash purchase.. ;) we ended our long weekend with a BK dinner and a long walk home from the Expo..
Life is simple yet beautiful.. *muacks* to my loved ones and thank you all for loving me.. :)
