Food, Food, Glorious Food!

1st time I'm writing a food review.. heehee.. My darling and I have an ingenious plan of reviewing food that's near MRT stations and hope to give reviews of "famous" food and also recommend some nice eateries that are easily accessible for the public commuters.. :)

So the food stall reviewed is.... a ba kut teh stall @ Eunos MRT (just outside the MRT station, there's a coffeeshop, think its called Eunos Eating Station or something like that, you cant miss it coz there's only one coffeeshop)

Darling has always wanted to try the Ba Kut Teh here as he heard good reviews about it, so we decided to give our usual cant-go-wrong 85 Market a miss and settle our rumbling stomachs @ Eunos..

We ordered a $4 Ba Kut Teh, 1 plate of peanuts and added 1 Tao Kee (beancurd skin) after, total cost about $7.20... Here're the pictures.. :p

The bowl of Ba Koot Teh (as per the stall's naming) and peanuts (nice, not too soft with a little bit of crunchiness)

Darling posing impatiently for me to take pictures before attacking the food.. hee

Darling giving the soup the 1st try.. nice and flavourful was the verdict

Nice effort of removing all the bone (but some pple juz like sucking on the bone rite? Anyway, his verdict of the meat is not so nice, taste abit too porky)

Finished the soup before evening starting on anything.. went back for refill and was "full-filled"

Overall, the food was not too bad, though abit under our expectations. Can give it a shot if you are in the area, but no need to travel from Jurong to try lah. If you really coming from Jurong, then pls alight at Bugis, the Ba Kut Teh there is better. Will give you review of that place next time. Am abit scared of BKT these daes...

P.S.In fact, the fried half chicken I ordered was very nice. Fried till so crispy that I can even eat the bones (almost lah) but not too oily, so I would recommend the Fried Chicken @ the Western food stall (sorry no pics, coz it wasnt the stall we reviewing - actually this gives us another reason to go back and try the western food.. heehee)
